We will have the honour to visit the Bundeshaus in Bern, where Andri Silberschmidt will give us an introduction to parliamentary operations, followed by a tour of the premises. The event will be followed by an Apero riche and great networking.

Andri Silberschmidt is an FDP National Councillor, Vice-President of the FDP, The Liberals Switzerland and gastro entrepreneur from Zurich. Growing up in the Zurich Oberland, he decided to do a banking apprenticeship with a vocational baccalaureate after completing compulsory schooling. He then worked for another 7 years for the Zürcher Kantonalbank (ZKB) as a fund manager. In addition to his entrepreneurial commitment, Andri Silberschmidt is now Secretary of the Board of Directors of Planzer Transport AG and a member of the Board of Directors of Jucker Farm AG. From 2013 to 2019, Andri Silberschmidt studied business administration part-time and graduated with a Master’s degree in Global Finance from Bayes Business School in London. He completed his LL.M. in international business law with a specialization in M&A and corporate law at the University of Zurich in spring 2025.

Andri Silberschmidt is also co-founder and Chairman of the Board of Directors of kaisin. – a catering company with branches in the cities of Zurich, Basel and Zug, President of FH SCHWEIZ, the umbrella organisation of graduates from universities of applied sciences and a member of the board of trustees of various social foundations.
